Who has seen the movie "SICKO" by Michael Moore?

I saw the movie the day it came out and i loved it. I think it was great, he talks about a lot of good points and they make sense to me. I cant believe that such a powerful country cant take care of its own people..... I think everyone should go see it and get informed if they don't agree then what ever but if they do then great lets all get together and do something about it. We need to vote for a president who will make change happen!

I have. And it's a hard movie to argue with, particularly if you too have been burned by the medical/insurance scam.

I worked for a company that gave health care, Oxford, in fact. The company was based on people using their eyes. I was a photo compositor, retoucher and worked all day with photographs and illustrations. That was my job.

I started to have eye problems, and the insurance company took the position that eye-sight had nothing to do with my job, so they wouldn't pay for the battery of tests. I had payed into their company for five years, but I had to cover the cost of tests myself.

I know so many people who have been put through this kind of crapola.

Michael Moore has done a big service pointing out the corruption of the current system.

I have seen it and thought it was good. After seeing it you can't help but feel ashamed at the way the richest nation on earth treats it's citizens. Is there any health care solution that is perfect? No, but our current one needs some serious overhauling. A national health care system in the US would work but it will tough to implement for one reason ...... whoever starts it will be fighting the huge profit dollars of insurance companies, pharmaceutical companies, and the AMA.
