unless you txt them by the net by going online to their carriers website and sending it through there i dont think there is another way.
EX: if he/she has nextel you go to nextel.com and they have a place where it says " to send a message type in the phone number" so you type it in and click in the next button it will send you to another page and you write the message. that way you dont show your number

sometimes if you enter a phone number in your aim (aol screen name) you can send texts to the phone from your online account, and when people recieve the message, it comes up as a bunch of numbers. But I think it shows your screen name on the inside of the message so I'm not sure if this will help or not [:

Most cell phone companies have something on their website that will let you text one of their customers for free.
Orrr....you can make a new screen name on AOL Instant Messenger and go that route.

I know if you call a phone number and dial *67 before the number it shows up private. Try *67 before the number that may work.

you can try sending an email or a text from any source of instant messaging (yahoo, msn, aol)
