It would have a substantial value and MLB would want it for the HOF display. I would probably try to negotiate a deal with MLB first but go elsewhere if I was not happy with their offer. The homerun ball that breaks the record and the last one he hits in his career will carry the most value.

I would like to think that I would give it back to Barry for soem autographed items, but I have to look out for family first and put it up for auction ASAP.
Remember 757 is right around the corner.
After he breaks the record, does barry have to celebrate after every homerun?

I'd offer it to Barry for a reasonable discount, like say luxury suite access and 3/4 of the expected auction amount. If he passed, I'd offer it next to the Hall of Fame for full auction price since no matter what, I'm sure they will be charging admission to the Hall to see it.

it particularly is an exciting communicate. on the 2nd, the steroids accusations are basically accusations so the checklist is valid. right this moment the ball has intense fee, a million might desire to be to intense, yet quite a number of $100K. If it comes out interior the destiny that Barry is proved in a court docket of regulation to have completed steroids is the fee of the ball dwindled?

I'll definitely keep it (MLB will not confiscate it from you.....) and see what I can deal the ball for.
Barry Bonds
MLB
HOF
SF Giants
Online Auctioneers
Rich People
I'd see what any of these groups and individuals can offer. It will not pass a million, so high six figures will do.....

sell the ball. I like baseball, but I love money. Imagine how much money would I be getting if I were to catch that ball? good luck to the fan that would catch that ball. I hope he would really need that money, if not I hope he makes a wise choice and donate the money to the people that really need it.

I would get what I can for it.As much as I would like to give it to the Hall of Fame it would help set me up for life. The Hall has enough balls in it anyways. They are all basicly the same.,

Sell it to the highest bidder. Pay off my mortgage, go on a trip, whatever. I have no reason to keep it or donate it. I hope whoever ends up with it gets a bagful of cash.

Keep it, 10-20 years from now it might be worth a lot more than today.
