What kind of picture? Or are you looking for a plat map?

In my area, the assessor's office is online, but doesn't have photos of the property. It just has a sketch of the where the buildings are located on the property. I don't know of any assessor's office that has photos.

I'd try google earth, that will give you an aerial view.

You could have a Realtor drive by and email you pictures if you are an out of town owner.

You mean... like an aerial photo? If so, I'd actually check Google Earth.

A regular photo is sometimes done by assessors and can sometimes be accessed online via your county assessor's website (but some counties aren't that up-to-date yet...)

Not all assessment districts have photos of properties online. In fact, most do not. Some assessment district have even yet to put ANYTHING online, requiring you to visit the local land office to gain information.
