I want to buy a LCD screen for my Xbox so I can play in HD and I heard the response time is an important factor. Even though I dont really understand what its all about.

Most of the screens in my budget range have an 8ms response time. Will that be ok to game with, or what should I look out for? I see most of the monitors that have a 2ms response time is pretty expensive.

Thanks in advance!

8ms is fine, its about the same speed as a standard tv, but 5ms down to 2ms is better for high def games, take a look at this for example http://www.amazon.co.uk/Hannstar-AH191-WideScreen-LCD-Resolution/dp/B000QUTTBA

2ms skill that the reveal can refresh 500 situations a 2d, so which you won't be able to get greater effective than that, a minimum of top now. Does the 360 dashboard have ghosting too? it must be achieveable that the pastime is utilising action Blur effects. i take advantage of an Acer 21" with a 5ms refresh time for taking part in my 360 interior the direction of the VGA link, and it is thoroughly crisp and sparkling (I play Rainbow Six Vegas 2, Battlefield: undesirable corporation, and Brothers In palms: Hell's highway), and that i additionally play my laptop video games on the liquid crystal reveal.

anything under 10ms is fine, but ask yourself, would you be able to see the speed difference of a 2ms to a 8ms. The answer is no, the naked eye cannot register that speed to the brain.
