To the idiot that thumbs down this answer, it is obviously because you know SOD ALL about broadcasting standards.

A s-video cable only carries video, NOT sound. Hence, it is called an s-"VIDEO" cable. The usual setup for s-video is the s-video cable and then two RCA jacks that carry stereo audio.

You will need to use an audio cable as well as the s-video cable.

Almost all TV-out connectors on graphics cards or laptops are S-Video, even though the standard failed to take off in Europe due to the preference for the higher-quality RGB signal provided by SCART, but it is a little difficult to put a SCART socket on a graphics card or a laptop.
