Passion is certainly not a weapon, and I view more as a gift than a prize. A prize is something you win, a gift is something you have been blessed with, and thus are responsible to utilize. Passion is pretty difficult to contain. Passion shapes our existence, and fuels the fires of inspiration, making the heart and mind open to life and those that surround us. Passion is food for the soul, a spark that redefines our purpose and mission for being here. Passion is yours to experience and revel in. And even if it causes you to scrape your knees or fall into that raging river called life, passion is your birthright. It is within you. It is yours to discover and master. Admittedly, some people in life seem to have more passion than others, or perhaps it is that somehow they have learned to tap into a source of strength within, that gives them an amazing ability to embrace life with extra zeal and tenacity...I think all people have the potential to be passionate...But very few allow passion to fuel their life. People often put too many restraints on themselves and more specifically when it involves exposing their emotions and their heart. Developing passion is a great exercise in self-development, I think... :)

It depends on whom I am dealing with. Usually, I use it as a prize with those younger than me and a weapon with those older than me.

Funny, I never thought of it being used either way. It was always something to be achieved.
