its going to hurt, but strech anyways. you need to get the acids that build up in your muscles out. and drink lots of water. thats the simplest way to get rid of the pain.

JUst get plenty of rest. Every hour or so just do gradual stretches with your legs the more you do the stretches the easier ot will become to stretch, so gradually increase the amount of stretch you do as you go on. Then just try to walk and keep trying and trying and you will be able to do it.
If you have ever seen killbill vol. 2 a woman has been in a coma for some years and when she wakes and escapes the hospital she cant move any of her legs or feet. However she starts with her little toe and sits down for hours trying to wiggle it, then she moves on to the next toe, and in no time, with a little determination she is up and walking.
Just use the same principle and you will be up in no time. good luck

Dull achy pain is OK. It's caused by a buildup of lactic acid in your muscles. It'll go away in a day or two on its own, but you'll be pretty sore until then. Light exercise will help flush that stuff out of your muscles and make you feel better...LIGHT exercise. You'll have this less and less with each practice until you no longer get it at all.
A sharp pain that runs down one of your limbs is bad. That's probably a muscle tear or worse. Complete rest is what you need...if it doesn't start getting better in a couple of days, you may have a more serious problem and should see a doctor.

First time dancing? That explains why.
It takes a while to get used to. If you dance a few more times, you'll get used to it. Don't worry. Just stretch more to improve your flexibility while at home if you really want to do something about it, such as reaching your toes.

Ease into any strenuous activity in the future (that means taking the time to stretch and stuff). For now, time and Tylenol will help.

Take a Hot Epsom Salt Bath........
You can also take hot towels (as hot as you can stand) and wrap your thighs and calves.....
Next time warm up or you will pull muscles that will take months to heal. If you happen to pull a groin muscle (very painful) you will never heal completely.
