It might certainly be worth seriously considering. These are real people who are courageous enough to open up a part of their soul. It would do us good to respect that fact and honor them accordingly. This world is flippant for the most part and extremely careless with the hearts of others. It is refreshing to find people who are mature enough to take real life issues seriously. Of course some of the questions are nor deemed worthy of answers and I would not want to dignify them by giving them one. They need to talk to Howard Stern about coming in a sippy cup.
Never the less. Answers has proved to be a valuable resource for many and it would be a discredit to the creators of answers to insult them with nonsense.
Hopefully you are two cents richer. This is my two cents worth.

It truly depends on the question and how it is asked.
If it is asked in a jovial way, then smart answers are the way to go and they do provoke a smile to all that read.
If it is serious, then I take the time to evoke a better thought for the asker. I want to leave them with something note-worthy.
That's how I do it.
