what exactly does it mean when it says you need two contrasting monologues for an audition.....can you please give me examples....and also maybe two contrasting play examples....also it should be like williams, oneil, simon, or miller....modern/ realistic stuff I think....? Idk...but thank you!!!

It means one comedic and one dramatic. They can even be the same character or the same playwright, just different emotions.

There are books with plenty of examples, do a search for monologues or monologue suggestions and tons of info will come up. The more plays you read, the more material you'll find as well. It's hard to give suggestions since you didn't put your gender or your age :-)

it means 2 monlologus that are different, like a dramatic one and a comedic one. you can find monologue books at book stores or libraries or you can look on the internet for them.
