As for your boredom - let me suggest some things that might be of interest:
reading, writing letters, visit elderly in nursing homes, make cards, join a campaign, visit a school and become a volunteer, write a short story, write poems, songs. Go online and learn another language.
There are so many things you can do. I am in school waiting on the final semester grades for my high school students to print off. They are biting at the bit to have their last day party and food is everywhere - wish I could share this with you.
