the cubs have more depth than milwaukee, after sheets going down, last season might have been a blessing in disguise lots of our young pitchers, and hitters got looks at the big league level, so they are performing well. Fontenot just came out of nowhere, theriot showed signs last year of greatness. Murton can perform at the big league level, he just fell out of it a bit this season.
Pinella knows how to manage a playoff caliber team, and he is resting guys regularly, so they can be fresh later in the season and into october. Yes if the cubs stay on their course they will catch the brewers and advance to the playoffs.

Yes, they will win the NL Central. Not sure about World Series though. The Brew Crew on the other hand won't make it to the playoffs most likely cause their are a few teams ahead of them for the wild card spot at this present time. However, if those teams ahead of them fall apart the Brewers could sneak into the playoffs. The pitching is very suspect on the Brewers right now. Chicago Cubs are hot right now, but they're pitching can grow cold just like the Brewers can. If that happens, the Cubs may have problems catching the Brew Crew if they get HOT again. Both teams have been hitting, but if that grows cold on both teams that'll be bad news until one of them breaks out of slump.Personally, I think that the Cubs will catch them and I'm an Astros fan who happens to like the Cubs when they're not playing my Astros.

particular, they're going to win the NL functional. not sure approximately international series even although. The Brew team on the countless hand won't make it to the playoffs maximum probably reason their are some communities previous to them for the wild card spot at this present day time. in spite of the user-friendly reality that, if those communities previous to them crumble the Brewers would desire to sneak into the playoffs. The pitching is fairly suspect on the Brewers staggering now. Chicago Cubs are heat staggering now, yet they're pitching can improve chilly in basic terms like the Brewers can. If that occurs, the Cubs would have issues catching the Brew team in the event that they get heat back. the two communities have been hitting, yet on an identical time as that grows chilly on the two communities that'll be undesirable information until eventually fairly one among them breaks out of stoop.for my section, i think of of that the Cubs will seize them and that i'm an Astros fan who happens to love the Cubs on an identical time as they don't look enjoying my Astros.

yes, i think they will. They should be hot for the rest of the season. I think the Cubs will win 95 games. The Brewers will be second with 92 wins. I don't think the Cubs will make it through the first round of the playoffs, but the Brewers will win the World series!

yes its gonna be like in 2003 where we had to fight the whole season to get in 1st place. the brewers are gonna fall apart they only had like one bad stretch the whole year and they are ready for another one plus they got sheets out in the dl. and the cubs have 2 hot starters, zambrano 12-7(7-2 since barret fight and a great era) and ted lilly who is 10-4. even though lee is suspended right now we are still scoring runs ,12 in the 1st game and 9 in the second game. so i think the cubs r gonna win the central and sorry brew crew, no playoffs this year not even the wildcard.

I believe the Cubs are a better team and would give them a good chance to reel in the Brewers.

I think it's possible. I hate the Brewers and I am not a Cubs fan, I love the SOX! BUT, I am happy for the Cubs and their fans (don't tell anyone) they deserve it.

I think so because Ben Sheets is out for the brewers for at least a month.

i think they will because the brewers dont have experience, or theire ace, ben sheets. so that is two negatives for them. it will be a close one though. but i think lou piniella and the cubs will win the central.
