Philistia was an area of what is now Palestine - it was where Goliath came from. I think the name was Roman and the Philistines probably called themselves something completely different!

Palestine refers to a geographic region, a Philistine is a biblical term refering to an indiginous occupant (a person) of what is Palestine.
