What are your thoughts on Barry Bonds? Even if he used steroids, would you consider him the player ever? Would you attend the record breaking game if you were Bud Selig? And if you think Bonds used steroids, why? And I don't wanna hear he got bigger, or the cream and the clear. I have heard those too many times.

Bonds has to be considered as one of the best players to ever to play the game and is on a very short list of possibly the best ever. He will be the new homerun king, he has over 500 stolen bases, and very few pitchers would ever pitch to him with the game on the line. Add to that to his career .444 OBS, .608 SLG, and 1.052 OPS and no one in the history of the game can match these unbelievable accomplishments. Anyone can say anything they want about him but his numbers tell it all. I am in no way a Bonds fan and I support the drug testing policy in MLB, but until they come up with something, which I don't believe they will, Any comments related to the drug issue is of no consideration to me when looking at the career accomplishments of Bonds.

I think Barry Bonds is a jerk and i cant stand him. Now as a player even if he took steriods, its still pretty amazing to see a guy hit 755 homeruns. Before he even "took steroids" he was one of the games best players. I say if he didnt take steriods (assuming he did) he would have still hit 600. The guy hit 30 or 40 homeruns a year for his entire career reaching above 50 once. He has been consistant. I cant really say he did take steriods b/c his numbers every year are pretty much the same with the exception of 2001. If i was Bud Selig i would attend the record breaking game unless there is solid proof the man juiced up until then we must pay some respect to history in the making.

I think he is a great player. So many people don't want him to break the record. If he breaks the record he breaks it. Whether he's black or white, people need to give him respect. So many people don't like him, he deserves respect. I give him that, he is a supreme player that can easily break the record. And if he does, he does. Let it be, he's a great player. His people gave him steriods. He didn't know, he shouldn't be in trouble and he's not, it who gave them to him.

He already was a Hall of Famer even before all of this allegations began...

He is one of the greatest batters to play the game, but he is also one of the worst Individual to play this game (at least in my eyes)....

It just happens to occur that the spotlight is pointed directly at him, not Pete Rose, not any NFL player .... HIM...
