Most are hardcore republicans that support Bush no matter what.
Some people don't understand that is ok not to Support the president. He is going to make decisions that you can't do anything about. That is why he was elected.
I don't care for Bush and I don't support him, however I do support the troops because they are fighting a war right now and I would like to see them all back safe and sound.

This is the million dollar question. He is not even a true conservative, at least not fiscally. Everyone talks about how Bill Clinton and the dems spent so much money but if you compare the budgets Bush has spent tons more even if you take out the WAR IN IRAQ!!!!!
Fact: Discreatinoary Spending for programs like medicare, medicaid, adding stop lights to roads anything "extra" that conservatives hate paying for increased by %15 under the Clinton Administration and has increased by %25 the Bush adminstration.
The only people that still support bush are those in corporate america who have become rich becuase of his tax cuts and the people who are afraid of seeing gay couples walk down the street together.

Penelope just totally avoids the question by stating a useless fact. and i dont even know where it came from becuase congress, last time i checked was at 33% and the dems in congress had something like 45% and the repubs in congress are arond 33%. congress has ALWAYS had a lower approval rating than the president. and since president Bush is rock bottom, that does not leave congress much space left.
as for an answer, this is a question of what you believe. most people have given up on the president as completely useless, but very few staunch Conservatives still stand by him. Personally, i hated him before it was cool

CPMondello, There are nonetheless many that do. you may understand that lots of what, as you're saying - includes easy" is what's reported by way of the media. The media has in no way been friendly to Bush - and regardless of ways particularly undesirable Clinton grow to be, continuously supported him. Following 9/11 (undergo in strategies the terrorists entered the rustic and have been experienced whilst Clinton grow to be president) we've not had a terrorist attack happen against us. undergo in strategies additionally - a democrat led congress helps the conflict, that's winding down. Bush took massive hits it the clicking for typhoon Katrina - yet, legally it particularly is the accountability of states to respond and help, no longer the feds. Even the l. a. governor reported that distinctive cases, however the media in no way reported that. And no, i'm no longer an excellent fan of Bush, nor a hurry Limbaugh fan. i'm in simple terms somebody who has faithfully voted by using fact Jimmy Carter ran (and that i voted for him). "Ranger"

My son was one of the brave soldiers that invaded Iraq, he believed in his mission and served his tour. During the invasion I was frantic and watched CNN constantly for some news of his outfit. He returned home safely but many of his friends did not and he is suffering from that today. I support our troops, always have. I believe bush jr is a war criminal and you can go to impeachbush.com for all the evidence.

Because even though he has failures- like supporting that silly immigration bill, he is one of the few who understand what it means to give your word to an ally, to fight for freedom, to achieve victory rather than quiting because things get a little tough. More importantly he is one of the very few who put what he beleives is the nations interest above his own personal interests. That is rare. You dont have to agree with his vision but you should respect that he does what he believes to be right not what pollsters tell him.

PNAC penelope loves to play with numbers and words.
"the democrat controlled congress is polling at 9%"
No actually it's 33% for congress as a whole.
And the Democrats in congress have 47% approval rating, compared with 37% for Republicans in congress.

Bush's approval has been consistently less than the amount of people who voted for him....which clearly shows that many people who voted for him are extremely disappointed. There are still quite a few supporters of Bush...we refer to them collectively as the "36%'ers"....these people just have their heads in the sand since 2000.
