If I had some good wide recievers I would pick Tom Brady or Drew Brees, depends on who fits the offense more. Not Peyton because really he's in my opinion the most overrated QB. Don't get me wrong he's very good but look at the recievers he has Marvin Harrisson Reggie Wayne and Brandon Stokely. Now look at the ones Tom and Drew have. Tom I don't even know who his WR is. Drew has an old Joe Horn, and Marques Colston. Now if I didn't have that good of WR, I'd get Vince Young because he's a decent passer and can run with it. Also I'm from his hometown. H-Town!

Peyton Manning has given his life to football. You couldn't ask him for more. His life is football. He has turned himself into a football machine, quick toss to the left, play action deep down the field etc. He really does give it everything he has.
But, somehow I can't say Manning. I think Brady has something Manning doesn't have. I think it's a confidence or calmeness that Manning doesn't have. I can't put my finger on exactly what it is but it's there. Favre used to have it as well, so did Montana. So by a hair I will pick Brady over Manning.

i would want a young QB that i can build my team around. so i would pick Matt Leinart. he is a proven winner and has all the skills. Tom Brady and Peyton Manning are very good but they wont be in the league for more than 6 years or so.

I know this won't be a popular answer ,but I would have to pick Mike Vick ,he changes the game,he is the modern day quarterback,he can do alot for your team, now if he had some other main players around him he would be the best.If Tom Brady didn't have a Belichick or that good offensive line or those great receivers where would he be.You didn't say anything about the dogfighting mess.In which I think he will rebound from and realize somethings about life and people.Lets face it he is being hammered because he is a celeb ,that type of thing goes on all day, everyday why should he be the first to get thrown in jail for it.Hit him with a fine and let him go on with his life.Just like they would do anybody else in that situation.

I would pick Manning over Brady. Brady is great, no doubt, but I believe his 3 rings have just as much to do with great coaching. Manning, like others have already stated, has a top notch football IQ. On top of that, he's a great leader on the field.

If I have only active QB's to pick from, I'd go with either Brady or Peyton Manning. If I can have QB's from the entire history of the NFL I'd go with Joe Montana with John Elway a close second.

I would probably have to pick Carson Palmer. He's younger than Peyton and Brady, and I think could reach that elite status. Although I certainly don't want to see the Bengals win any Super Bowls.
