I love it, I also love when somebody brings a guitar and everybody sings "Will the Circle Be Unbroken". Don't know why, it just kinda always fits.

There is a very simple answer to your question, and it starts with another question. Would you enjoy playing electric or acoustic music more? That's all that matters. I'll try to address each question though. Which one is cheaper? It's about a wash really. It costs a little more to get an acoustic of the same quality as an electric, but by the time you buy an amp for the electric it's about the same. Which one can you play more songs with? There are more songs that can be played on either than you will ever learn in a lifetime. Which one is easier to play? Electric guitars generally have lighter gauge strings and lower action so they are a bit easier to play. Can you use them in a band? Obviously you can. I'm sure you've seen bands use both kinds, but it totally depends on the style of music you are into. Where can you buy them? Anywhere from Amazon to Craigslist to Flea Markets to local or online music stores. It is always best to buy from a local store. You will have questions and need help as a beginner and if you buy from a local store they will help you. Which one is better? All a matter of opinion. If you plan to jam with friends or play in a band, electric is the most obvious choice. If you will be playing alone in your room or whatever then you may enjoy acoustic more, especially if you plan to sing along with the guitar playing.

Yes, brings back so many pleasant memories of camping when I was a child...
The Chicago Tribune every October used to run a picture of a boy and his grandpa burning leaves and seeing ghosts in the smoke,,,I miss that...
Now we have a fire in our fireplace almost every day in the winter,,,from lunch time 'till bedtime,,and I love it ( except for the soot that gets on everything)

Yes I do but haven't done it for a very long time. I love seeing what shapes come out of the fire and hearing the crackling and sputtering it makes.

Oh yes, I love that. I like small intimate fires with friends just telling stories sharing and burning one, but it's been awhile. :(
