I thought the Dems cared about average working American families. Am I wrong?

Top Dems are taking $18 billion from student loans. This money will no longer be available to help the kids of average hard working Americans.

Dems say the money might be used to help the poor. But, what about average hard working families who are trying to provide decent lives for their kids?

Don't Dems care about 90% of the kids that you see at schools?

The money MIGHT be used to help the poor? Aren't most of the young people who need student loans generally poor?

My son got a student loan and it ruined his credit..I had to pay thousands to get it back. BEFORE college was over. This is a two edged sword. Try for grants.

I watched CSPAN last night and that's not how it went down.

More money was made available for Pell grants, interest rates were reduced, loan limits were increased.

What's your source because I think you're confused.

I linked the bill right here:

Easy, they have more important things to do with the money than educating our poor kids. Ted wants to import a better French wine, Nancy wants to spend the money on restoring San Francisco, and Hillary wants to buy Whitewater with it. All good plans compared to: Well you know, spending money on kids getting an education. They are pathetic losers and we will keep electing them, so what does that make us?

"Dems say the money might be used to help the poor." READ: They want to use it for more socialistic programs like more welfare for illegitimate kids in the slums, and socilaized healthcare.

Did you watch the CSPAN debate in the Senate....? You are not acurrately stating the proposed legislation.

It was the Republicans that cut off the funding by sending it back to committee. It was the Democrats that were pushing to keep the federal funding available and make it tax deductible.
