Most likely he will be. If this was a physical injury it will grow back. Just be careful of your water quality so it doesn't become infected. A tablespoon of salt pre 5 gallons of water will help.
Also, be aware that high ammonia levels can cause split fins. If he's in a fairly new tank, you might want to have your pet store test your water for you. In the first few months, you'll need to do more frequent partial (25%) water changes to keep the level of ammonia down.

it will grow back no problem. id try to find out what caused it. If you have neon tetras they are bad for nipping the tails of guppies. Just make sure it is not a water quality prob as it will only get worse and eventuly die if it goes untreated. You can take a sample of your water in a clean jar or something to your lfs and they will test it.

Your guppy's fin is fine and will heal in a matter of time.
Just add a tablespoon of aquarium salt and he'll be fine.

it will grow back...dont worry about it and if it doesnt grow back on it's own you may need to buy a special chemical to make it heal faster
