reach Ladanian Tomlinson's level of productivity? I think he will and I don't think it will take that long. If you think he will, how long will it take?

Absolutely. Next season ('08). 30 overall TDs. Mark it down.

Given a couple of years of experience, ..maybe but saying to reach LT's productivity is tough. The main problem with him right now is that he's not good enough in running game to reach LTs level. What I mean is he's too impatient, always bouncing it outside trying to make a big play, eventually getting loss of yards when all e had to do was cut back inside and would have had a gain of anywhere between 4-15 yards. I believe in a year or two he'll learn to fix this and possibly....but it is a stretch...to catch up with the level LT is on, especially with Deuce McCalister getting up in age very soon.

Bush is a great player and is still young.. but his problem is is that hes in a 2 back team so his touches arent like Tomlinson so it might take him a bit longer. One downfall is that hes an all purpose back. So he might not always do 1000yrd rushing... but his recieving yards will but higher than LT. So the wear and tear on his body will come faster... Bush is the new Tiki Barber..

so basically there 2 different types of backs.. and if Bush can stay healthy and make plays he'll be a primetime player like LT.

I'd say no for two reasons. He is not the same kind of RB as Tomlinson. I do not think Bush would hold up being the all time, every down kind of RB. And the systems are so different between NO and SD. Bush will never get used the way LT does.

Bush is like a more talented B Westbrook. So overall with receptions etc. he will have a very productive HOF career. But for carrying the rock on a everydown basis I just don't see him having a 10 year career doing that. They take a beating inside when running. LT is build heavier and can absorb more punishment.

I see both backs in a totally different aspect. Both are superstars but they have different capabilities.
