I i have a cruiseline transfer from Schiphol to the pier, can i take a cab somwhere after i get to the ship?

Depends on your arrival time and the time the cruise leaves.
Also on in which town/harbour you start your cruise.

If you start in Amsterdam and you have more than 2 hours spare, you are likely to be able to go into town for a bit.
But if you leave from a harbour farther out, (like IJmuiden or Europort,) or have little time left, it is not likely.

Ask the tour company about what you can expect.
