style of clothes , my colours and at times even what i like become her "likes" etc!
How can i feel positive about it ????

unfortunalty i suffr fromt he same thing.. not my sis in law but sum of myfriends .. i hate it so i know what you mean.. its like you are your own person with your own style and sumone comes in and tries to steal it away and possibly take credit for what you do!! i hate that!
but then theres another side were you have to think maybe its a compliment and you should be flattered.. i would pointit out to her like lil hints and maybe shell get it but if not i would def say sumthing!! good luck

She must think very highly of you. She looks to you as a role model. Perhaps her relationship with her mother was not the best. You should not be angry at her. You could maybe show her color combos and try to show her how to be unique in her own style. It would be a bit maddening to have someone copy you. This will pass I am sure, till then, don't cause waves, cause that will make you look mean and dumb...

I am sure it can be very annoying. This was something that most found irratating even as young kids. However, for some reason she believes that you are a wonderful person and/or have great style. Otherwise she would not be doing this. This of it as a boost of confidence, that you are, in a way, a leader.

When it comes to life there are leaders and followers.
Your sister-in-law apparently thinks you have good fashion sense, and by copying you is actually paying you a compliment. It may seem a little annoying but

Think of yourself as the big sister. The little sister always wants to be like, dress like and copy the big sister. I know it gets really frustrating at times, but eventually she will find her own way. It just takes time.

Consider this. Copying is the greatest compliment someone can give another person. She looks up to you and wants to be and look like you. You are probably, forgive the expression, her hero. Go with that.

Have you ever considered the fact that maybe your sister in law looks up to you. Perhaps she envies you and wishes to be more like you. There is nothing wrong with it. try to see the situation from this perspective and maybe it'll make you feel better.

i know exactly wat its like with 2 ppl one my lil cousin loves to do everything i do i wear somthing she wears somthing just like it and my best friend does that i laugh a certian way and she trys to laugh just like me and says the same things it can get annoying but i mean u gotta think this way they just think ur really cool and they see how u act and ppls positive reactions back to u and they want the same thing to happen to them
