My period is only 2 days late but I've been having many symptoms from my first pregnancy for the past 2 weeks. I did have protected sex around my ovulation time and 7 days later I had some light spotting. I didn't take a home pregancy test yet because with my 1st it didn't come back positive till I was a week late so I was going to wait. I was 99% sure that I was pregnant & now I'm not so sure. I was really getting excited about it & now I'm so depressed!! Could I be pregnant...does this sort of thing happen a lot?

The bleeding didn't start like my regular period at all. Normally I start off light brownish for 1 or 2 days before & this is pinkish red...not that heavy yet!

you can still have your period and be pregnant wait a bit and test. Good luck i hope you get the answer your looking for!!!

I sort of had the same thing happen to me.
In April, my period (or what I thought was my period) was 6 days late, and a friend suggested that maybe it's implantation bleeding. So I took a pregnancy test (at home and at the doc's, and they were both positive. Yea!! Then I started bleeding about 2 or so weeks later (like a period), and after an appointment with the OBGYN and an ultrasound, I was told that there was nothing there. 80( As far as I can figure out, when I bled in April, I was actually miscarrying. I wouldn't have known if I hadn't taken that stupid test. The bleeding I experienced later was just another period. I sure hope what you're dealing with now is not the same as my experience! Well i will be 15 weeks pregnanton Monday. Around the beginning I spotted for 3 days. I was scared to death. The morning that I woke up and found it I called the doctor and I went in imediately. They did an ultrasound and said that everything was fine we even heard the heart beat for the first time. They asked if I had had sex lately and I had the night before. The blood was coming from the blood vessels in my cervix, because of all the extra blood flow. They said that I would probably bleed from the vaginal ultrasound too, and I did. You may not be pregnant and again you may be. Have you had intercourse lately? Good luck! I hope everything works out the way you want it to. My blood was pinkish too

what kind of bleeding? how much? Did is stop? If it is only alittle bit not so much bright blood and has stopped then you could be pregnant. If you still have it and is turning into your period like blood then you probally are not. You really just need to wait it out. No matter what if you really think you are pregnant, I would get a test and take it. Get two, to take tomorrow and maybe a little later. Good luck and wish you the best!

Go ahead and take a home test. You could be pregnant and just having light spotting, which can happen. If you are pregnant and something happend with the pregnancy you need to get in to see your doctor.

Yes, it does...Been there...Did not take a test either, just had the usual stuff going on.. I am really sorry, but it could be an early loss...Wait and see what happens...Is it a real period, starting out like it normally would or is it just spotting??
