if i studied business and psychology combined at university, what jobs could that lead to?
also, is it possible to even do that?
please bear in mind i enjoy the psychology side a lot more, but i also understand i am not good enough at it to rely on it, i'd have to combine it with something and business is the most suggested.

Human resources or personnel work is an obvious choice.

It's always good to have a back up plan, but that back up should be something that interests you, not necessarily what seems the most practical to everyone around you. If you're interested in psychology, go for it. If you want a good career, go to grad school and pursue a higher degree in it.

It wouldn't be a bad idea to minor in another area. Are you at all interested in teaching? If so, you could combine psychology with teaching another subject, such as history or English. Good luck with your undergraduate degree, and I hope your choice makes you successful in your career!

Like most students, you're going about it backwards. You should not pick a major (or double-major) and then ask what job you can get. You should set a specific career as a goal and then ask what major will best promote that goal.

If you have no firm idea about a career (and it sounds like you don't) then a good idea is to go to your student services office and ask to meet with a career development specialist. They should have the tools to advise you about which careers match you, both for aptitude and attitude. Picking a career that you're really good at doing and where you also enjoy the work is the first step to a happy life.

Once you have chosen a career, your student services office can also help you identify exactly which major(s) to complete, then later they can advise you about job prospects in your field and give you guidance about resume preparation, applications, and interviews.

Business is the psychology of either persuasion, partnership or exploitation.
Advertising is psychology.
Marketing is psychology.
Sales is psychology.
HR is psychology.
ad nauseam.

If you want to excel in business you need to know psychology.
