I've downloaded AutoCAD to a new computer, but I can't get the wheel on my mouse to zoom in and out.?

It only goes up and down on the screen, is there a setting I can do to make it zoom?

Sure,

MBUTTONPAN

Be sure it is set to 0 (zero). This should allow it to do what you need.
