But I dont think im ever nasty just for the sake of it...

B, C, and D.

If I don't know they answer then there is no need to tell them that, so why bother.

If the question is nonsensical (and sometimes it is purposefully so) then I'll most likely answer in a nonsensical manner, hopefully one that is witty as well. It isn't out of anger but rather that I see the humour and a straight line in the question asked, and I'm a sucker for giving a punchline.

If the person should actually seek professional help, then having them cry on your shoulder telling them that everything is alright might be nice, but it isn't helpful in the long run and can actually be hurtful. And if they are asking in a way that seeks advice rather than reassurance, then the best advice is to tell them to get the specific professional help that they need.

If the question is well written or thought out, or seems to seek serious advice that requires factual information, then I'll give it and it will be based on reality.

Saying that the only point of this forum is D is incorrect and your view as to why people answer in any other manner is biased.

i'm going to attempt returned... 3 seperate entities - a million) father, 2) son 3) Holy Spirit. All are a factor of God. All are divine. God the author, Jesus the Savior, and the Holy Spirit who dwells between us in the present day. in simple terms because of the fact the Son did not know the hour, does not decrease his divinity. Why draw that end? God claims Jesus many cases in the bible and Jesus claims the two God and the Holy Spirit. particular, your taking one passage out of the Bible and attempting to %. at it (detect a loophole). i did not sidestep the question, you in simple terms won't be able to comprehend the respond. Is that direct adequate for you or might you desire a baby's e book meant for a 5 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous? in simple terms because of the fact you do not in ordinary terms like the respond, does not decrease it relatively is reality.

I'd say I'm D. I try to be helpful. When someone asks about facts or information I try to give it to them if I know something about the subject. If I don't know enough I don't answer. If someone is asking for opinions I give my opinions.

I hate answers like "I don't know", "thanks for the 2 points" or answers that actually provide wrong information but present it as true (whether that's done on purpuse or out of ignorance).

Why do people answer questions they dont know the answer to?

1. I am the kind of person who does not answer the questions that I do not know the answer.
2. I do not know why people answer questions they do not know the answer.
3. I did answered this question although I do not know its answer.
4. So I am the kind of person who answers questions he does know the answer.

Have a good weekend :D

LOL, I wonder if I should answer.

I try to be useful, answer the question, if necessary, do some research to get the correct answer.

Perhaps I'm just a know it all who wants to be acknowleged somehow.

Maybe I should go to the doctor.

I float somewhere in between C and D. I can't stand when people ask questions like "My baby has a fever of 106 and he won't eat and he won't stop crying! What do I do?" Come on, lets all be logical thinkers here. Take him to the friggin doctor...NOW!

And...

E: The person who thinks he knows, but doesn't, and consequently contributes an authoritative, but entirely incorrect answer.

And also his friend, who marks factually correct answers with a thumbs down!

I try to be D, but I must admit I go with C on those that I think have a bad attitude or outlook.
