I have never liked the name Skyler for a boy. It is okay for a girl, but not a boy! Anyway, Jones is a last name and so is O'rell. Is your last name hyphenated? Oh, and Davey Jones was a singer on the 60's mad up band The Monkies. Just thought you may want to know. Sorry, I just don't like this name. I like Shane David O'Rell. Four names is a little much; just think of him on the day that his Kindergarten or 1st grade teacher says "lets learn how to spell your middle name". He will have two and it will take him twice as long to learn both middles than all of his buddies, who only have to learn to write one.

Skyler is fine, (sky for short) and I don't hate the long name, but david jones has no ring to it.try A first name (like david or jones) and add an unusual middle name. Like skipper or morgan.

I like Skyler... but, David Jones reminds me to much of Davie Jones from the Monkees. Were you trying to achieve that?

That's a long name for a kid tho.... think of him when he goes to school. Be kind.

I had a long name and it was always annoying because of ppl asking questions etc...
just stick with the middle name and last name
it sounds good

So, what is the question? Yes, you can name your child whatever you want. Witness the new names out of Louisiana of "Orangejello" and "Lemonjello" (pronounced "oh RAHN zzello" and "le MON szello" - with the soft G sound)

I would recommend hyphenating the last name, though.

I think it is very nice! I love the name Skyler. Also my Dad, brother, and brother-laws name is David. So I am a fan. It sounds good but its your kid so you make the final decsion! Good luck with the baby!

i think it sounds fine. my uncle has four names so i think that's just fine. However, personally, i think David Skyler Jones O'Rell just sounds a tiny bit more flowy.
