As many of you know the last and final book in the Harry Potter saga named Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows is due to release one minuet after midnight on Saturday July 28. So my question for every one is if you were standing in a very long line waiting for your chance to purchase the new book and they sold out
And a stranger walks up to you. Then offers to sell you a copy of the book witch he just purchased for $50.00 U.S. dollars what would you do? Would you buy it or would you wait until you could find a store that had some in stock. Mind you that the book the stranger is trying to sell you is a first edition copy and it could be weeks before you can find another copy of Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows.

No, it's not weird. When you say "doesn't like" is that dislike or just doesn't happen to be a fan? Because I'm always up to introduce more people to the HP fandom. That being said, I don't think I could date a Twilight fan. I guess maybe I could, if there was some redeeming quality, but if he were one of those weird "OMG TWILIGHT" people I don't think I could handle it. Plus he'd probably think that he should be more like Edward, and I do not want Edward Cullen for a boyfriend. Ever. Harry Potter boys own all though. Every guy that I've liked since middle school has been an HP fan.

I would definetly wait. First off the books are at least $20 less anyways. That person would be dumb for selling the book yet anyways. So no. Iwould not buy it from a stranger who just bought it for fifty bucks.

well, the book comes out July 21st, not 28th
When the last book came out, Barnes and Nobles had hundreds of people in it, I happened to go to Krogers for some food that Saturday morning, and they had them right there, waiting to be purchased, so why wait in line, and if some store ran out, try your local grocery store or pharmacy, I think they all have them.

The book is for sale on the 21st. Tonight at midnight. Never buy books from strangers.

If I had been standing in line for awhile, I would probably pay the $50.

On the other hand, if I knew ahead of time that I was not going to get one, I would just wait.

Anyone who is going to buy the book first edition of the first day the first thing in the morning would have to be a die-hard potter fan himself and would IN NO SITUATION sell his copy.
(That beats the purpose of buying the book right?)

So it is hardly possible that this stranger will have bought the first edition and sell it again........

END RESULT:-I WON'T BELIEVE HIM.I WILL WAIT FOR MY OWN COPY .

And for heaven's sake, do you have any idea of buying and selling HP7?

It's July 21st.
No, I wouldn't pay a scalper. I'd wait if I had to.
BUT, I pre-ordered it so hopefully, I'm good.
