I have the same problem,
I quit March 22nd.
Just Tuesday night I had a dream that I smoked a cigarette and was so upset (in my dream and when I woke up) that I had spent 4 months smoke free and I had a stupid cigarette.

For me anyway, these dreams re-inforce not smoking, as if I can get so upset in a dream, I can only imagine if I smoked for real how bad I would get.

Keep up the not-smoking.
I dont know how long the dreams will continue, but its worth not smoking.

Do you really need an answer to that one!! You give something up, you have a craving for it, it plays out in your dreams, that's what dreams are for. You work out your issues in your dreams. It's like the anorexic who dreams about desserts all the time. Give it time, the cravings will start to cease and the dreams will go away and you will go back to your normal dream pattern. But, keep up the good work with the cigarettes, 6 days is just the beginning, do it day by day, it's almost like being addicted to alchol, so don't obssess on it, try not to think about it and all should go well.

I quit smoking three weeks ago and I still dream of smoking, I called the doctor and he said they will fade just like your cravings will.

I had smoking dreams for years after I quit. It doesn' t mean you're going to start again. It's just your mind making dreams out of your personal experiences. They will get less frequent wilth time.

Dreaming? Did you smoke in your sleep?

I am so happy for you that you quit...That is a great thing..You are probably dreaming it because your mind is use to it,,it will only get better as the days pass....

Those dreams are cigarettes trying to convince you that you aren't strong enough to beat them!! They are on your subconscious mind. But when you awaken, you prove them wrong every day!! Congratulations!! Now you know you are a Strong Person (and that you smell good again).

For the exact reason of why you are asking this question. You are constantly thinking about it...Dreams are your subconcious. You will have dreams about it until something more important that you are thinking about constantly takes over.

That is your addiction calling out to you. It must be resisted, try and dream of something else.
