Did you see what Maroth did last night? He gave up 10 or 11 runs in five innings, bringing his ERA up to over 8. How good is Dombrowski's move to ge McBride for Maroth looking right now?

Yeah, Maroth isn't exactly old. He's only 29 while McBride is 24.

Of course it was a good move! I knew it was a good move. And all the Cardinal fans after his first start where thinking oh what a good pitcher, but what they didn't realize was how bad he truly was, well they know now haha. Dombrowski is not dumb!

Trvor got everything right except Maroth being old. I think he's 29 or 30.

I believe it was a good move but not for the reason you have stated. Any pitcher can have a bad game, at any time, but I just don't think Maroth has too many more good games left in him.

obviously its a good move Maroth is old and has only a few more years and McBride is still young and could develope to be a good pitcher.
