If by environment you could be referring to a great deal of things from weather to conditions.

Weather gets over 130 degrees in the summer. Sandstorms that last for hours at a time. No real source of water.

Conditions: Fighting an faceless enemy set to kill you if you are "the infidel", roadside bombs, suicide bombers, snipers, RPG attacks, ambushes, kidnappings...the list goes on.

Those are some of the negative I can think of. I would list positives but no one that votes Democrat or is a liberal cares about them and only care about their hatred of our president. I lost respect for him after the immigration issue but will not vote for any of the Democrat hopefuls this election season.

The debris from car bombs flying through the air is the biggest threat to life there.

That is because no one is willing to take the steps necessary to prevent this type of situation from occurring. If barriers were built to keep cars away from cities there would be fewer car bombs exploding in the cities. Fewer deaths and injuries as well as less debris would stop this pollution of the environment and allow the government to focus on other critical issues of pollution, water supply, electrical supply, and control of oil fields so the do not leak and cause as much destruction to the environment.

Iraq is a desert. The biggest environmental issue they have is that it is hot and sandy. Any other environmental issues are probably caused by the frequent bomb explosions because of the war that is currently under way over there. I wonder if Osama worries about the Ozone Layer and Global Warming?

Osama Bin Laden is the answer to that. I feel for the regular folk who just go about their daily business in Iraq, but god help them if the west decides to go full force. What did the world expect? Knock down our office towers, and say "oh, well"?

The saddest part of the whole thing is the States is spending a hell-uv-a-lot of $ on this war, and that $ could be spent internally for education/housing/health etc. We in the western world have to look after ourselves first, and not feel guilty that we have the money--god knows we work for it, as did our forefathers.
