I was just wondering how many people have just gone to school without there shoes or took there shoes off at school and just went the day without them. Did anyone say anything about it or was it just ignored?

Yes, our son had a bad habit of losing his shoes and it was getting to be a mad dash to find them and get him off to school. So one day we just sent him in without his shoes (elem grade), and the other kids made fun of him. But he stopped misplacing his shoes after that and we did not have any problem with the school about sending him with no shoes that day. My teen daughter and some of her friends think it's cool to be in school without shoes and they take them off. The school just gave up trying to get them to wear shoes and the teens just found other ways to annoy the staff and started wearing their shoes.

I used to wear flip flops everyday, and take them off in class. In the winter,I'd change out of my boots or sneakers and put on flip flops when I got there.I love being barefoot. If I could,I'd go barefoot all the time.My feet feel cramped in shoes and besides, they get all sweaty and gross when I wear regular shoes.

Yes, my mother. She went to school during the Great Depression. In those days, at her school, you were more likely to have something said if you had shoes on.

Me? At swimming carnivals that we had every year. No. They dudn't have anything on their feet, either.
