Try some farewells from Operas:
La Traviata: Addio del passato, and she dies heavily seak in the arms of Alfredo.
Tosca: She throws herself down from Castel Sant' Angelo, Mario is already shot.
Madamme Butterfly: She kills herself with her father's sward. Pinkerton has already said goodbuy to the house (not her)
Carmen: She gets killed by Don Jose when throughing the ring he gave her at his face (her way to say "farewell").
La Boheme: Mimi dies of tuberculosis in the arms of her lover (They had a farewell discussion sometime ago).
Manon Lescaut: Dies of thirst in the dersert in the hands of De Grieux (of course she utters a farewell).
Ottelo: Desdemona gets stuggled by Othelo and that's their idea about farewell.
La Forza del Destino: Leonora gets killed by her brother and dies in the arms of her beloved, repeating a farewell...
Rigoletto: Gilda dies in the arms of her father, who killed her by mistake, saying farewell to him...
Il Tovatore: Everybody dies, without a farewell....
After all this, what else can you call a "difficult farewell" ?

mine was from my Dad on a Saturday evening. He was telling me Goodbye and how much He loves me and How Proud He is of me. He passed on the next day. He was my best friend. It was the hardest thing i ever heard him say to me and that was..."i can't take u with me this time." We went everywhere together. those final words from him just about destoryed me.I grieved for 3 and 1/2 years. He will be gone 5 years this November. But the best part is knowing that i'll see him in the Rapture. Praise The Lord!!!!

Two, actually. The first was when I left the city I had been living in for ten years (and where I had spent some of the greatest moments of my life), and the second when my ex boyfriend went abroad to work.

Saying goodbye to my Dad and having the courage to tell him it was okay to die and not to hang around for my sake. I can close my eyes and be in that hospital room like it was yesterday not a couple years ago.

when my 2 best friends went away to other states, one moved with his family and another to college.
Since then, I've never found any friend like both of them anymore. They understood me the most...
