After having to leave the American NFL league for marijuana use, he started playing for the Canadian Football League. Since then, he stopped playing, and I don't know what's going on with him.

It is too bad that such a gifted back is not able to play. I don't smoke weed, but I think it is ridiculous that the NFL suspends players for using in the comfort of their on homes. It does not give an advantage to a player the way that steroids do. What if Ricky was a raging alcoholic? That would be fine in the eyes of the NFL and I do not see much difference between the two. Anyhow, I need some beer.

The Miami Dolphins hold his exclusive rights to play in the NFL. He failed a pee test in April and cant apply for reinstatement from the commissionaire until September. The head coach of the Dolphins wont say if he will be welcomed back to the team because he will only talk about active players. Chances are the Dolphins will try to find a trading partner but the chances of that happening is slight.

Right now he is going to a holistic medicine school in Colorado.

He still owes the dolphins over 8 million dollars from his signing bonus. that seems to be the only reason he is still trying to play football.

Don't know, obviously he'd rather be high and broke than play in the NFL, be rich, and the icing on the cake...live in Miami. How sad, all that talent and he just threw it away because of some trees. Why couldn't he just hold off until he retired? I'll never understand some people.

Ditka traded the whole rest of his draft for Williams in our "Spaced-out-wackjob-doper" fantasy league draft. I took Cedric Benson. (It's a keeper league).

He tried to file for reinstatement to the NFL, but failed the drug test, again. He's trying once again in the upcoming months.
