I need some help here. Recently had violations for two funny "not out of the ordinary" questions. People loved them and stars were falling like bowling pins.

1. Honestly, exactly WHAT does it take to make you report a question?

2. Would you still report as many, if your explanation and user information (yahoo ID) was passed along to those you reported?

3. Why not just hit the back button and go somewhere else rather than read all of the reponses if your "so" offended?

never done it yet. If i REALLY don't like someone, I'm mature enough to ignore them.

Well,a person can really make me mad,but usually only if the person is like swearing and doing that to offend the rest of the people and the questioner, and well,I hit the report abuse button when there is real abuse,if the person says something stupid or annoying,I ignore that person,I hit that magic button for a reason and not because I don't like the answer,or I don't like the person,or I just like to report everybody,no.Though I hardly ever report people

Ok, I will be honest here. I reported a person once and it was to that ''Lips'' avatar. It's way too disgusting, and something kids should not see. Maybe I'm overreacting.

Apart from that, I haven't seen or read anything that offended me. Maybe some racist questions, but I just ignore them... most likely the asker is just trying to provoke..

Anyway, don't try to find a logic in this violation stuff, there are perfectly harmless questions that get erased!!

1) I am offended by anyone that mentions abusing sexually or otherwise a child. Those questions aren't appropriate for this forum or any forum. There are children, as young as 8 on this site--and they should never be subjected to that kind of written mess!!!!

2)Yes I would report regardless of them knowing me or not--cuz let them contact me--PLEASE CONTACT ME--cuz then I would really let them have it!!!!!

3) I don't read responses--I report and move on. I only report questions not answers...it doesn't make much sense that if you are offended that you would play into the sick twisted mind game of some deviant that is looking for attention. NO---I report the question and move on!!!

I have never reported anyone, however I think that I would report someone if I saw something related to blatant child pornography and/or sex-assault. Typically, I would ignore something I found offensive, however if someone was posting something like ... Oh I just blankity blankity whatever with the neighborhood kids, well I think that it should be reported, because it's possible that Yahoo! may be able to lead to ending the real abuse and not just the on-line talk.

Violence against children and against animals, there are a few people on here who talk about raping small children and killing unborn babies that is what makes me hit the report abuse button.

Yeah, same goes for me. I ignore, I haven't actually reported anyone. Although sometimes when someone asks a really innocent question and people put them down it gets on my nerves.

As for my answer for your second question - I wouldn't report as many! :P I'd be too scared of people.

I've only pressed the button once and it would take a lot for me to press it. I would press the button for a question that is about hating certain groups, which is racist, sexist or discriminates in the extreme. Like someone asked a question that was about hating coloured babies so naturally I found that offensive.

The ONLY thing that I will report is people using nude avatars. There is no need for that. I am by far not a prude but I believe in being civilized and having common courtesy for others.

I would only report if the content was really vile eg, talking about abusing kids, otherwise if I just don't like a question or answer I just ignore it.
