I would say, YES.
You may have it confused a little bit.
You can love an individual or the person they are, but you can hate some of their WAYS.
There is no conflict here, though it seems it on the surface. You probably know a lot of things about your boyfriend that are loving and kind in nature, therefore you perceive him to be a loving and kind person. But unfortunately, No One is perfect. And we notice the imperfections a little bit more, than the loving, kind qualities.
For instance a person can do a hundred different things in a week that express their kind loving nature, that may count as a score of 100 in your mind. But let's just say, he does something to upset you, that might score a 300 against him.
We are much more easy to criticize, that is our nature. When we are happy we purr, when we are unhappy we scream. The trick is to remember all things together. So I ask you, do you REALLY hate him or do you love him and only HATE some of his WAYS?

Definitely possible and frequently normal when feelings run passionate in either or both partners. But when hateful outweighs nurturing or the relationship turns toxic, think seriously about finding safe space for yourself and take time to decide what is important for the long run. Never accept repeated abuse for any reason - life is too short to suffer that way.

yes love them but hate what it is that they do or hate how they make you feel.. but then again would it really matter as much if you didn't love them?
