It's tricky, a lot of bands have released more than one greatest hits compilation! Aerosmith's Big Ones is good, as is Bon Jovi's Crossroads, I'd steer clear of both Red Hot Chili Peppers albums (What Hits? and Greatest Hits) because they're both hugely unrepresentative of the band, Bryan Adams first, The Story So Far, you'll want The Story Of The Clash Volume 1 and the two part Smiths compilations Best...1 and Best...2, ignore the Blur and Oasis best ofs for the same reason as the Chili Peppers, In Time by R.E.M. is good, as is their IRS Years compilation - And I Feel Fine, Smashing Pumpkins Greatest Hits/Rotten Apples is pretty neat too.

many times if I also have a maximum appropriate Hits album I even produce different albums too, or if not complete albums, a minimum of another single songs from iTunes. each and every so often a properly-completed maximum appropriate Hits album is stable although. I each and every so often purchase them, using fact quite some the song I pay attention to is on Pandora Radio or Dizzler or different cyber web-radio form issues, so i don't very own quite some the song i admire at this ingredient. possibly while i'm not broke i will purchase some. the main suited benefit i assume of Greates Hits albums is to maintain funds and be waiting to take heed to a minimum of a few stable song, or to get a sampling to get an thought of whether or not you like a band. Bands I in basic terms very own A maximum appropriate Hits CD From: Patsy Cline (incredibly is a stable CD, has all her terrific) Smashing Pumpkins

I prefer to buy the albums that the track was on as although the songs on "Greatest hits" albums are popular there is a wealth of music you miss from the actual album they were released on!
