In some cases, the dinner serving comes with side dishes (salad, etc.). In other cases, the dinner serving is larger. In yet other cases, the restaurant wants to make more money, so they charge more for exactly the same food, and take longer to serve it!

because most people are used to paying much more to go out for dinner than to go out for lunch, so restaurants charge more in the evening than at noon.
plus i think because theres more food choices and sidings by that time.

most family and corporates have the habbit of goin out for dinner rather than lunch.. so space, crowd and no other option to guests make the restaurents to go for higher tariffs in the nights then lunch...

caz thr is more crowd in nite..Its same as some movie tickets are at lessar price in the morning show...and u get a kind of discounts in off season..its just corelated with supply and demand at the lunch time demand is less nd in nite it is more.

they get more guest in the night, and they have some entertainment too like orchestra, etc... so we have to pay for that too
