I don't go looking at other people's light bulbs, but I know that I use them.

I have just converted all my lights to fluorescent. I love them. They use less energy, produce a very clean bright light, and they last a long long time. It's definitely worth the expense because in the long run they pay for themselves and continue to save money and energy for years.

All my bulbs are fluorescent, and energy efficient. Everyone I know uses at least 1 in their homes

I don't like them for interior lights because of the color balance. I use them for exterior lighting, though.

My next-door neighbor has replaced all his incadescents with compact flourescents. I know quite a few other people who use them too.
