Yes, if the outcome of English ODI series is somewhat positive to prove his abilities as a leader of controlling the opposition with his bowling squad.
As for the batting is concerned, it is once again going to be as usual, the Individual's performance on a given day.
But the captain should possess the ability to make right choice of bowlers for a given day and give his a special fielding attention. Finally if the bowlers fail the captain then it is totally different.

This England series is a good measure for Dravid and if they beat England in England, he and his team will be heroes and
Cricket has gone to the top. If they falter, and loose badly
in 20/20 again it is on the back burner.
