Beckhams The american view?

Hi I would like to ask our american friends just what they make of the Beckhams. Are they real celebs or just is it just media hype

Tabloid fever only. She was a singer, got plenty of those and he plays soccer (football in other countries) that isn't really a mega hit in the states. Understand the attempt by the soccer league for getting the Beckhams over here, he has been able to promote himself well, however I sincerely doubt he will be able to raise the level of professional soccer popularity in the US to the level of acceptance found in other countries.

I was watching the television last night and for some reason they had a "special" on about them. I dont get it, they are only people with way too much money. They put their pants on the same way any other person does, they are no better and no worse. There is way way too much else going on the this crazy, sick world to even give a dayum about them!!!!!!!!!

I'm UK oily...so you don't want my answer really....but......I think Vicky Adams is a fair swap for Madge Richie. They are both vacuous tarts with no talent. We've had to have Madge....it's only fair that the US has to suffer Vicky.

I wish we could have kept David though.
