Don't give up hope! I'm sure that there is SOMEONE out there - if not, be happy loving yourself! My fiance was killed in a car accident almost four years ago, and it's been very difficult for me to "find the right guy." I come as a package deal with my young daughter, so that complicates things a little. Not to say that I haven't had nights that I wish I had someone just to come home to, but I've realized that I've been pretty happy being by myself. Just because you're not in a relationship, you're not living without love - you have the love of your family and friends, all of which is unconditional and already there! You don't have to work for it at all and that's great! Even though you haven't found the right guy, don't give up on love ... just like candy, there's more than one kind and it's all pretty sweet!

In love there is giving and receiving. Receiving is not always a choice but giving is. I do feel a need to give love and could not live a satisfactory life without doing so ... and if I had to live a whole life without being (or having the hope of being) loved, it would be very depressing and difficult indeed.

I personally could not, I mean, i really believe that if someone had to live a life without love it would kill them, so i dont think anyone could....love is what life to me is all about, without love it seems you'd have nothing........

Yes, you could, but there would be so much of life that you would miss out on. It doesn't matter what age you find love, as long as you do. I personally would find life without love extremely depressing.

Gosh you made me think about that one. I still am not sure, I suppose I've never had to so It's hard to imagine. I have had loving parents and husband and children, I've been lucky.
Many people do live without love so obviously it's possible but do these people always have the hope of love? maybe it's the hope that makes it possible.

I am doing at the moment, if you mean without a partner. I know I have the love of my kids but it's not the same thing is it? Maybe when my kids are older, I'll make myself available again, but at the moment, they come first.
