I so agree, they make every woman look pregnant, and the shape is very unflattering.

No. They hide a multitude of sins, and are so adaptable - you just have to wear them properly and buy the right ones.
Daytime Look - pretty printed smock (say from Top Shop or New Look), with footless tights and pumps
Nightime Look - dark colored with sequinned trim (say from Zara or French Connections) with skinny jeans and high boots (if your boots can match the trim on your smock even better)
However if your quite busty they can make you look pregnant...

I thikn they are fine if you have the body of a 12 year old boy, anyone with boobs or curves just looks like they are in maternaty wear, I think they look ace on the right people but us humans shouldn't bother
