its doubtful you were born at 00:00:00. if you were born even one second after midnight you were born the day after. so you should only have one birthday, but if you can get away with it then well done.i was born july 3rd 08:14 so nowt special there.

I don't know, but I've always learned that 23:59 was still the previous day, and once the clock said 0:00 it was the next day, no matter what. So, just one birthday.
Add to that, that there is such a thing as local time. Obviously you know of the time zones - they change an hour every 15 degrees west or east. Now, *on* that meridian, the time said is *exactly* that time, but also that changes with 4 minutes every degree, since the sun doesn't exactly rise at exactly the same time over the whole 15 degrees to the next meridian.
Not to mention daylight savings time, and the exceptions to the rule with the time zones, depending on where you are born.
So technically, you could be born at exactly midnight, but for it to have any supernatual value, wouldn't it make more sense for nature to define when exactly it is midnight, instead of man-made laws etc?
To answer your question, though, I don't know anyone born at exactly midnight. The ones that come closest are Van Morrison, who was born just one minute before midnight, and my own dad, who was born 5 minutes before midnight.
It is a very rare occasion, anyway.

The bottom line is, if you don't feel comfortable with it, than don't let him spend the night. To answer your actual question, my daughter was almost 2 1/2 before I let her spend the night away from me (she was with my mom and sisters). I was basically a SAHM for a year and a half and she was breast fed until age 2 and co-slept with me until she was 4, so you can imagine how protective/attached I was to her. But with my son, it was completely different. I had to go back to work when he was a month old and I only nursed him for nine months. He didn't co-sleep at all. Even then, He was 9 months old (after I weaned him) before I let him spend the night away from me. My MIL had asked more than once before then to keep him overnight, but I didn't feel comfortable with it. It had absolutely nothing to do with trusting my MIL (I trust her completely) I just wasn't ready to be away from him! So even without you going into all that detail about your MIL's behavior, it's still completely understandable if you don't want to be away from your child overnight. 4 months is still very young. Your MIL did raise your husband, though, so I think she's capable of caring for your child for one night. And it's completely natural for a grandmother to spoil her grandkids. EVERY grandmother does that! You are basically already away from your son overnight anyway (he'll be sleeping) so I don't think it'll make much difference if you get a hotel or if you go home. Just get up early the next morning and meet at your MIL's house so you can be there when he's up first thing.

If by midnight, you mean to the nearest second, there are around 670 other people in the UK.

I would be very surprised if you were the only person in the world who was born at exactly midnight.
Wouldn't you be?
