My Final post on McCanns. Maybe?

I think this will possibly be my last post (but one!) about this tragic Madeleine case. I can hear a lot of you cheering..lol. So for those who are interested, have a look at my post from the Mirror forum please...and notice that its not just us lowley yahoo-members (as Im sure Gerry would call us) who express anger towards the McCanns, people in Gerry and Kates profession do too!

A lot of what we,ve said on here, has been said on medical forums too. And some goos points have been raised.

Your all very supportive, thanks SO much!! I appreciate your very kind words. I do just want to say, this post wasnt prompted by any "bullies" on here though (wouldnt give them that power over me, for a start!) its more to do with me. I dont like what Im becoming, Im letting this case devour me, in a way. Im having trouble not getting personally too involved, my anger towards the McCanns is so great, maybe Im not being as objective as I could? And Im guessing some of you may have read between the lines on a few of my posts, so I might as well be honest, I was abused from aged 3 to 9, and its obviously tainting the way Im seeing this case to a certain extent, and affecting me. Some people recentley called me aggressive, and they were right, thats what Id turned into, especially the last week or so. I even made one Anti-McCann almost turn Pro, and that wont do, will it? lol...then seeing the post about Madeleines image being tainted, did it for me. Does that make sense?

yes it does raise some good points.
I do not think they shud b allowed to work in their proffession any longer-why the hell should they be trusted to look after other peoples kids when they cant be trusted with there own.
It does seem strange that all their children were asleep not stirring at the same time-possibly they gave them some of that medicine(cant remember its name)that makes kids with sleep problems sleep(also used for adult hayfever)
as if sum1 took the child and no suspisions arised in the hotel....wouldnt madeline of been screaming I know my 4 yr old would of!unless she knew the person or was in a state of sleep still.And why did they just take madeline would one of the twins not of been easier to take-smaller and less likeley to shout out something like wheres my mummy I dont know this person etc.
I do feel bad for them as if it happened to me Id be devastated but then again I wouldnt put my children in that situation.
how can two grown ppl of good proffessions be so irresponsible...I dont go out to the garden when my kids are in bed let alone out for a meal...the fact that they seriously had no quarms about their safety-getting out of bed/pulling things on themselves/generally getting up to mischief and hurting themselves like little ones can.Why did the mcanns have confidence that that wouldnt happen...had they drugged them with sleeping medicine.
I genuinley dont beleive otherwise that any normal human being would leave children.
It rings too many bells for me and all seems a little dodgy.
It just concerns me where there twins are now.
I think if maddie is returned safeley she should not be returned to the mccans.
If it was anyone else that had done this there twins would of been in care now but because theyr proffesionals they are treated better.
I wont be sending any money to the fund and feel sorry for the ppl that have;as it says most the ppl who have sent money are in poor financial cercumstances unlike the mcanns.

I am confused by all this ongoing speculation.
One part of me is appalled to see the bad(wicked) things said about the parents, when, regardless of any possible neglect, they are suffering the tragic loss of their little daughter.
Another part of me is suspicious of the parents' full role in this awful affair, especially in light of all the 'questionable information' which is being bandied around. Obviously we do not yet know all the facts... and we should not attempt to pre-judge on such scant 'evidence'.
With regards to the donations, they were given freely and unconditionally. The way the money is spent is now the concern of the parents and not the public.
However, bb3003, I do thank you for raising these questions. It is only proper, that where doubts exist, they should be openly discussed. On the other hand, it is a pity we can't have the parents' answers to your questions.
I imagine that time will tell.

I am glad you have acknowledged the role of your personal circumstances on your approach to this situation.

For your own sake, I think that to back off is probably the right move, from what you have said. Ultimately, this situation is not directly relevant to you and it is not healthy if you feel you are being taken over by it.

Please believe me that I would say the same thing (and would offer the same advice, if asked) to anyone who shares my general view of the McCann situation.

As for good points on the forum, that may be so, but there is also one post in which the contributor theorises that Gerry McCann might be necrophiliac because of one photo showing him with his face screwed up - because the poster recalls reading "somewhere" that necrophiliacs often look like that.

I think it demonstrates that all material appearing on public forums (including this one) MUST be taken with great caution.

BB - you stay and have your say, sweetheart. I too, have found myself getting pretty aggressive over the McCann business but I think it's because we feel so ineffectual - that we can't DO anything. I read a few of the replies before I posted and you should take heart from the support given you.

BB3003 my heart goes out to you for your past horror's...my hopes and admiration are genuine for your present and I send you all the best Karma for your future......please take heart from many of us on the forum who must feel as I do, from reading their responses to your most recent, that your obviously well rounded and grounded individual.
You have spoken out loud the words that many of us feel about the Mccann's.
Can I just say that by policing your own thoughts on this subject and understanding the why's and where-four's of your attitude means your not being swallowed by it all......
I for one would like to see your posts continue, they're insightful and well written.
You have triumphed over what was done to you and I think you should be proud of yourself.
It would be a shame to have another person silenced even if it is self done........so like many others on the forum I say take a breather but don't give in having your say.....talking and questioning is how we recover..move on and get the past behind us and move forward.....

It must b absolutely terrible what the mccanns are going through but as a parent myself what were they thinking leavin three young kids asleep on there own whatever the outcome i do hope justice is done an those responsible for madeleine's abduction are caught soon.to allow her little brother and sister get on with rest of lives

I understand your concerns. This has affected a lot of us in different ways. Take a break but do not disappear. Love you hun.

I have been reading the Mirror forum for weeks now, just haven't posted as yet.
I think you should carry on posting here, your points are valid and interesting. I too wonder if the kids were sedated, I know they can all crash out on holiday, but for the twins to remain asleep whilst the whole apartment is swarming with people supposedly looking for Madeleine, I find hard to believe. There are plenty of over the counter meds that would do this, not that two doctors wouldn't have access to drugs though!
I've also wondered if Madeleine was DD - not that it should make any difference, but perhaps it did to her parents. There's just so much about this case that doesn't ring true.

I agree with anne above that people should have their say. I do feel extremely sorry for them. I did not know they were considered dodgy or bad parents but news of the little girl has been reaching us here in Australia for weeks. I think they were probably clueless, ignorance not being an excuse that makes them guilty I guess.As to Madelaines current where-abouts; there is a good chance she is alive and being used in the sex slave trade or some such awfulness. I have friends who work in a rescue centre for these girls in Cambodia; this is exactly what happens to them.
