buying pay as you go mobile?

tesco are selling sony ericcson handsets at about half the price of virgin just now. is it possible to use a tesco handset with a virgin sim card. if so what do i do?

no. virign doesnt hold sim cards, so it isnt possible to use a sim card phone for virgin

you would have to get the phone unlocked usually at any market, then put a virgin sim card in the phone and away you go, charges for unlocking vary between 5 and 15 pounds.
