I'd say 20s after getting out of college. Had much more fun once I was making money.

Technically I don't think the best years of your life is the same for everyone. I think the best years of someones life, is when they are happy, with a stable home, good love life (whether in a long term relationship or many lovers), have enough money etc. My Dad is always saying High School years are the best, but maybe cause that was when he had freedom, could be a bit of a rebel, had all the beautiful high school girls after him, and had money at a young age. But for My aunt she says she prefers it now that shes older (over 40) She said cause now she has freedom, a home, money to travel, a good relationship etc. So I think the best years of ones life is when they are doing and not thinking about what they want to do.
Interesting question by the way

Exept for my mid-twenties, for reasons I do not wish to discuss in public, I always felt that the best years were always the ones I was living at the time.
Looking back and comparing, one of the best times was surely the age around 20 when I was finishing school (I'm German, it takes that long around here). It was a phase of reaping what I sowed for the past 13 years, having a hell of a time with lots of future and little worries.
But now, being a thirty-something, I feel that life is actually getting better day by day. So I am pretty confident that the best is yet to come!

I'm in my 30's, and I agree with the last person who answered that whatever years you're living through should be the best years of your life.
Sure, in high school you have less responsibilities as far as bills, concern for children, etc., but you also have to deal with going through hormonal changes, figuring out how you fit into the world and how best to interact with others, especially of the opposite sex. What your morality is, what your future will be. When you get older, a lot of those issues have been taken care of.
So, up until that point, I would say that high school was the best years of my life. In my early 20's, that was the best period. Etc, etc. I hope it continues!
And, that takes into consideration added responsibility, changes in society (like terrorism and less freedom), financial problems that you will almost certainly have at some point, etc.. I think it's because I consciously try to grow and develop myself as a person each year. So even if life situations come up, I can still continue to focus on positive aspects of life and continue to grow and develop in positive ways.
So for me so far, each year has been better than the year before--even when the worst that I've been through is taken into account. And hopefully, each year from this point forward will continue to be better than the year before.
(Yes, I have been through some major crisis in my life. I'm still here. I'm still smiling. This is still the best year yet!)

Wow That's an interesting question. I'm 51 and I'd have to say the best times are the 7 years since I had a heart transplant. I was so sick and had a little girl to be there for. And I was so close to the end of my life until I was given the gift of life again.

I am 25, and i truly believe the best years of my life were between, 15 and 20, not that my life isn't great now it really is. But when you are young there are no real consequences of your fun, and you don't have any responsibilities. Enjoy being young and carefree would be my advice. Its true what they say School years really are the best years of your life!!

In my 25 years on this Earth, I would say my college years were the best. I had the best of both worlds...relatively little responsibility (no bills to pay) and the freedom to pretty much do what I wanted so long as I got that piece of paper after four years.

The best years of my life are usually the current ones, because the life I am living is always an attempt at bettering the one I've been living so far.

I'm 15, and my life has been miserable so far.So I'd say the 30's are "the best years of your life" because that's mostly when people get married and have children etc..
