Because photons are a type of energy. The greater the energy from the source the greater the power of the beam of photons. when you apply Einstein's theory of relativity, something moving at the speed of light or near to the speed of light gains mass. Some scientists speculate that even light ,aka photons, can be suched into a black hole due to the enermous amount of gravity. So gravity acts on light as well

The speed of a photon is one of the parameters of it's existence.
When a photon doesn't exist it has no velocity.
when it is emitted it must accelerate to "C".
The quantum effect allows it one-thirty billionths of a second and one cm to to accelerate to "C"

when energy is provided to the photon they get accelerated and photons do have mass and momentum,only its rest mass is zero.

No,no...the REST MASS of photon is '0'. Means, if it comes to rest, it has 0 mass, means, it doesn't exist.

according to the theory, if they have no mass then they can't travel slower than C (speed if light) so at their creation, they are already traveling at C, there is no acceleration.

They might not have mass however they have charge.

When 2 opposite charges are in vicinity, they repel each other thus the acceleration.
