I have a pest/practical joker calling me @ stupid times of night and O' Christ times in the morning its annoying. I called T-mobile asking them to do something and they asked if I wanted to change my number. I refuse to give this person the satisfaction. Any help is more than welcome.

SImply report it to the phone Company and the police.
You sign a simple form, and log each 'bad' call. Within a few days the bad calls will be taken care of!

i have had the same problem. went to the police and contacted the provider. i was told the same...change your number. I understand with some phones if a number is witheld you can set a different ringtone. Mine did not have the facility. I resolved the problem by not speaking when a witheld number was received. If it was the jerk i left the phone on the table for 10 mins. Although he tried several times over a period of 4 months he seems to have given up. Last i heard from him was January. Good luck!

I know this is an obvious one but try turning your phone off at night.
Once they start getting your answer phone all the time they might get bored.
